PANDEMIC

At the very start of the coronavirus lockdowns in the United States, I decided to write the script for a short film. Avery Hartwell read that script and said, “Let’s film it.” With one camera, no tripod or sound equipment and only the two of us to handle acting, filming, and editing, we managed to finish the project in a few days. I added all of the sound in post, including the original soundtrack that I composed while I was writing the script. For my first official short film, with no budget or crew, I’d argue that PANDEMIC came out surprisingly well.
